Pile it On Challenge - 18 September 2011

Over at the Pile it On Challenge this week the topic is "the colours of fall".  For me these colours are orange, brown, green, yellow and purple - as these are the colours of changing leaves.  For my card I have used some K&Co and Prima papers.  The image is from the Crafty Purple Frog and is called "The Glance".  I have embossed some orange card with a flower/swirl embossing folder and distressed the edges with a brown chalk ink pad.  The decoupage I cut out, raised up with Pinflair glue gel and edged with some lace.  The card is finished off with flowers with brad centres, pearls, stitching, Glitterations, pearl pin, Marianne Designs die-cut leaf and butterflies and Craftwork Cards sentiment.

    Lovely card and I agree that the colors you chose are definitely fall colors. Of course, purple is my favorite so I think it's a color for any season. :-) Thanks for playing at Tuesday Throwdown this week.
