I so love my Promarkers and would also like to try to Flexmarkers so I was surprised to see on the Letraset Blog I subscribe to that they were on their third challenge. How did I miss the others? This time you have to follow a link and print off a colouring sheet and colour in for Challenge 3. I can't say it was an easy pattern to colour with my hands and eyes but I got there in the end and thoroughly enjoyed colouring it in. I decided to use autumn colours of red, yellow and green. I used four yellows, four oranges and three greens and I will say for the intricate bits the fine nibs were a definite help. Need to get some more I think.
I decided that the image was so nice that I would make it into an 8x8 card so I distressed around the image with Tim Holtz's Mustard Seed and Spiced Marmalade distress ink pads. I then mounted it on some mustard yellow card, orange card and some yellow K&Co paper. I have made the flowers out of a book with a die-cut and coloured them with Promarkers I used for the image and help it together with corresponding brads. I didn't think the card needed anything else as I didn't want to detract from the gorgeous image.
