Crafty Ann's Challenge #40 - 6 May 2011

Another fortnight has also come-and-gone for the Crafty Ann's Challenge.  We had a wonderful array of fancy folds cards entered into for the last fortnight.  I'm glad it's not down to me to pick the Top 3 this time!!!  The challenge for this fortnight is "happy birthday".

The image I have used for my card is one of Crafty Ann's more recent images of a gorgeous peacock.  I coloured it in with Promarkers and highlighted just a few areas with my Sakura Stardust clear pen.  I have then used some of Crafty Ann's Funky Collection backing papers as they matched perfectly the colours of the peacock.  I did some matting and layering with some blue mirri card.  The card is finished off with lots of Crafty Ann's pre-coloured flowers with just the addition of some gold mirri card candy in the centre to add a bit of elegance, Crafty Ann's ticket sentiment and some gold organza ribbon which I heated with my heat tool to shrivel it a bit.
