Kenny K's Challenge - 30 January 2011


Since I first saw Kenny K images last year I have fallen in love with them.  Oh I wish I could draw.  The Kenny K's challenge this week is "my favourite things" so I knew I had to take part - which I have done - but I forgot about posting it so I'm not too far off the deadline - better late than never!!!

I have used the Kenny K image called Da Bomb and have coloured the image in with Promarkers, die-cut, then inked the edges with a chalk ink pad deliberately making it rougher in parts in relation to the topic of painting.  The backing papers are from a DCWV pad, raffia ribbon, buttons, flowers, brad, charms, ticket sentiment, sentiment off the computer, pearls and some paint splodges cut out of scrap paper finish off the card.

Well, you might ask what are my favourite things that I have used on this card - square cards I love, buttons, pealrs/gems, flowers, charms, ribbon, Promarkers, monochrome cards and most of all I love working with digital images as you can re-size them to what size you want/paper piece with them etc.
