Well I followed the recipe for Stampin' at the Week-end challenge and decided to use card candy instead of buttons - what a silly billy eh. I wanted to do a funny invite to a friend to come around for coffee so when I saw this Meljen's Designs image I thought it would be perfect. This also fits in with the challenge over at One Stop Craft this week of "coffee or tea inspiration". As we are both love purple I made the card with scraps of paper/card in the colour purple. I've made to make two cards today out of the purple scraps - none really left now so if I want a purple card I might have to print something out!!! I have coloured the image with Promarkers, put puffy paint, left overnight to dry, heated to make puffy and then added some brown on top with a Sakura Stardust brown coloured pen to show to cocoa on top of cappuccino. The card is then simply finished off with some card candy, hand-written message (don't do that very often as my writing isn't very good) and some square gems which I must have had about five years when I first started cardmaking - nice to see that they've found a home on a card now.
This card also fits the following challenges:
Top Tip Tuesday - Anything goes
One Stitch at a Time - Old and new - new image but old square gems that I've had since I first started making cards over 5 years ago!!!
Craft Your Passion - Anything goes
The Crafty Pad - Anything goes.

If you would like to enter our Big competiton and be eligible to go into the draw for the prize you need to display our 100th challenge badge on your blog and leave a comment with your guess for the amount of ribbons you think there are - you can find it in the top of the challenge post. :)
But unfortunately there is only one entry per person so am not sure if you want to remove your others???
