I have made this wedding card with my new Tilda and Edwin stamp. Aren't they just gorgeous? I have coloured the image with Promarkers, cut out with a Nellie Snellon die and edged with Tim Holtz's distress inks in Tattered Rose and Peeled Paint. I have used some backing papers and inserts from my Bearlymine Country Collection. I was putting the lace over the backing paper before putting onto the card but forgot so instead I pleated it down the edge of one side of the image and I like it like that so I might do it again. The hardest part was trying to do the flower bouquet. I am no expert like Joanna Sheen and certainly need more practice but am pleased I managed to get hold of some green tape as that makes it look more professional. I have finished the card off with some sentiments off the computer, a LOVE image from TLC a congratulations sentiment from Raindrop Echo Designs and some items embossed on the Glitter Girls Celebrations embossing board.
As the flowers on the front are chunky and I cannot guarantee the courier service to the recipient I decided to decorate an 8x8 envelope and added some spotty paper, coloured a paper doily with a pink Promarker, added some gold lucky horseshoes, a sentiment off the computer and some butterfly embellishments. I just hope the recipient likes it. It can be quite hard to judge what kind of card to make someone when you've spoken to them for months but never seen them. Hopefully I've got it right.
