Sew Many Cards Blog Hop and Challenge

Over at the Sew Many Cards Challenge they have a blog hop going on.  Click here to go and have a look.

There is also a challenge as well to use 3 different techniques on your card.  Luckily I already had my second favourite character Duncan already coloured in or I might not have had the chance to take part.  I have used papers that a friend gave me from a magazine and scraps from the boxes on the table (by the way, I have now completed two whole months of using up paper/scraps I have got.  I have only printed out a few sheets of paper but they were for commissioned cards.  I know when I made the New Year's Resolution I did wonder how long it would last but I feel I am doing well) and also a metal tag I was given.  The three techniques I have used are:  embossing (I have embossed the piece of card the tag is sitting on); stitching, stamping (I stamped the Happy Easter and also the Easter eggs) and oh I have a fourth technique distressing (I have used my new Tim Holtz Spiced Marmalade Distress Ink along with the Mustard Seed (I have fallen in love with the colour of Spiced Marmalade).

Please excuse the awful picture but no matter what I did the flash kept hitting the mirri card!!

My card fits the following challenges:

Practical Scrappers - Use chalks/inks
Cupcake Craft Challenge - Round and round
Saturday Challenge - Stitching
Daring Cardmakers - Here comes the sun.
