Over at Dottie's World Challenge Blog this week the challenge is Father's Day. You can also contact Karen and get some free sentiments to us as well so I did just that.
I decided to use George dressed up as a Super Hero and used two of the sentiments for the card. He has been decoupaged. The backing papers are from Shabby Princess. For both the mount for George and the two tags I have used a blue chalk ink pad and some cut-and-dry foam to soften the edges.
I always find Father's Day cards so difficult to make as my dad died before I even left school but I'd have been proud to have made him a card like this.
I have only come across the Lots to Do Challenge Blog this week. What lovely creations have been made here over the weeks. I thought I'd have a go at the challenge this week and it's an open theme so I thought this card would fit in well.
Fantastic card Kym and well done to you for making all your cards for charity, I'm sure you'll have no problem selling this one!!!
