Sympathy Card

One of my customers lives with a friend who has just sadly lost his Mum aged 82. I have made this card for my husband to give to him on Monday. I again have used Joanna Sheen's Heavenly Cards CD for the main image which I have decoupaged and also for the backing paper and insert. I have then just used some backing papers/card and some organza ribbon to finish the card off.

  2. I think I need to purchase Joanna's Heavenly Cards CD, you have made some lovely Sympathy cards from it.

I always find Sympathy cards difficult to make and this year I seem to have made a lot of them. Trouble is I do have a Le Suh decoupage Sympathy book somewhere in my stash but can't find it! Why oh why can I never find what I am looking for!!!! The other companion books to it have also disappeared. I'm convinced we have a black hole somewhere in our house because there is always something disappearing - lol!

I do like Joanna's CDs, I liked the baby one she was showing on TV the other weekend too, it wasn't just for baby cards, it could be used for all sorts of cards.

I think all the cards you make are really excellent, I love stopping by your blog to take a look at what you have made.
