Joanna Sheen Weekly Challenge - French Chic
I had my first go at a Challenge this week and decided to make a card for the Joanna Sheen Weekly Card Challenge which had the topic of French Chic. I used a pyromage CD with a picture of a little French girl on it and did some matting with a Cuttlebug swirl embossing folder, TRES CHIC dome stickers stuck on and some fibres.
Commissioned Card for an Aunt and Uncle on their 1st Wedding Anniversary
Commissioned Card for a Niece
Commission Card for a 1st Wedding Anniversary for a Special Wife
I was asked by a friend to make a special card for her brother to give to his wife for their 1st wedding anniversary. I used the Arty Farty Paige's template to make this card, along with the Glitter Girls Celebration Board but when sticking it all together it went slanted so I had to redo the back pages again so I wasn't best pleased. I had to use cats/kittens on the card as this was the topic I was asked for
Commissioned Card for a Mum for her daughter and son-in-law's 1 st wedding anniversary
Commissioned Card for a Grand-daughter
Commission Card for 1st Wedding Anniversary
Card for a neighbour

Joanna Sheen Card Swap
The topic for August was a card of your garden or your pets using Flowersoft. Well I haven't any pets (only the cuddly toy brigade) and we only have an elevated vegetable garden so I got my husband to take some photos of his vegetable patch and made an inverted pyromage picture of his bean plants with the leaves of the bean plants for a background to the card and a border of the courgette plants

Card for my dentist
Commissioned Card - for a Retirement
A colleague at work did private work for her ex NHS Consultant but as he was retiring from the private work as well a surprise party was being organised and she wanted an extra special card. I decided to buy a new CD - Card Toonz Professional Nuttyness by Andy Carolan as I knew it had a picture of a doctor on it. I told my friend it was a pity that a nurse couldn't be included but it turns out his wife is a nurse so I got to use the doctor and nurse image and then various other images as he loves gardening and also his beloved guitars. It took me some time to make up the verse but it brought a tear to my friend's eyes when she read it. The Consultant was "over the moon" with his card and it has taken pride of place on the mantelpiece for all visitors to see.
