Sending Donkey Smiles
I saw a post last week on the A Spoon Full of Sugar Blog here and it mentioned that a lady in America called Michelle had had a terrible accident and lost the sight in her right eye. An idea formed that it would be nice for cards to be sent to her to cheer her up and give her support over the difficult time ahead. Two of Wimsy Stamps lovely artists, Melissa Jenkins and Ann Vento, had come together to design the donkey image and sentiment I used on the front of the card. Karen, from Karen's Doodles, also heard about Michelle and designed a donkey image which people can find here to use on their card. Well, I couldn't choose which one to use so I used one on the front and then printed onto card for the insert so I could colour the image inside. The donkey on the front is printed onto some Crafty Ann's backing papers. I have used various scraps of Daisy and Dandelion backing papers and some Bearly Mine flowers which I have added a little clear Sakura Stardust pen to highlight the centres of the flowers. Both images I have coloured in with Promarkers.
